One of the reasons Liz Obernesser is a natural at marketing homes is her experience in the field of marketing and promotion. An accomplished creative director, she understands the importance of the “big picture” as well as tending to small details.
“Perspective is everything in this business,” Liz says. “A house with the right bones can be made up into something that’s visually striking and appealing, and hence, more marketable. But you may also have houses that look very pretty but have flaws worth addressing. I try to bring the right eye to every equation, and make sure my clients’ needs are served.”
Liz’s eye for architecture and fine home design are such that when she found her own home in Greenwich, Liz designed a complete renovation herself and served as general contractor along with her husband. The results were so stunning that the home was featured in a glossy home magazine.
Liz, a Greenwich resident, is married to Richard, a harbor pilot in New York. She has a son and daughter.
