Business relocations are a hallmark of the Greenwich real estate market, and a focus of Laurie Smith’s since she started in the realty business more than 20 years ago.
Since her days with a Manhattan company specializing in residential rentals, Laurie has provided clients with logistical guidance through the relocation process. After eight years as executive director of a realty firm that worked directly with the HR offices of top corporations and business firms, Laurie relocated in Greenwich in 1994.
While remaining a skilled relocator for those who come into town as a function of their employment, Laurie developed a second specialty in her Greenwich real-estate practice: Helping find the best way of renovating or restoring a home with an eye toward enhancing its market value. She has helped many who are not professional developers derive income from their own home.
A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Laurie enjoys sailing and spending time with her husband, Fred, and four children.
